Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters Move to ProTrack

Myers, a respected developer in broadcast management software, is pleased to announce that Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters (AIB) have selected Myers’ ProTrack to manage its content metadata and associated distribution workflows for its broadcast operations. AIB is the largest regional interfaith television network in the United States.

Prior to transitioning to ProTrack, AIB was managing many responsibilities within their broadcast operations independently – which made it challenging and labor-intensive for them to provide metadata to the various departments and systems along their dynamic distribution chain. In addition, they recently began efforts to monetize their program schedules which placed further demands for timely information to successfully capitalize on revenue generating opportunities. With these productivity challenges, AIB set out to implement a centralized software solution that would efficiently manage their independent and inter-dependent workflows associated with scheduling, monetizing, and trafficking broadcast schedules. Furthermore, the solution would need to seamlessly interface with their existing automation system and provide the required proof of performance invoices for their advertising partners. After an extensive search, they decided on the Myers ProTrack solution.

“Not only did ProTrack provide a robust feature set to manage our entire broadcast operations, their solution was able to seamlessly integrate to our existing PlayBox automation system which enabled us to preserve this investment,” said Mark McGraw, Director of Network Operations, AIB. “We’re now able to manage our operations with one system which has vastly improved transparency and the delivery of time-sensitive metadata to those who need it, when they need it. We set out to implement a whole new level of operational efficiency and found it with ProTrack.”

“We are very excited that Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters has selected ProTrack to manage and support their broadcast operations. For nearly 30 years, Myers has implemented ProTrack at multi-media facilities, large and small, to improve operational efficiency and transparency,” said Crist Myers, CEO and President, Myers. “At the end of the day, operational efficiency not only saves a lot of money, it keeps employees focused on the future and ensures actionable insight is served up at the right time so teams can capitalize on it. We look forward to a long and productive partnership with AIB.”

In addition, AIB also installed ProTrack’s ProWeb module which provides a responsive, interactive and user-friendly schedule environment to their website so viewers have real-time access to AIB’s broadcast schedules and program information.

AIB contracted Comprehensive Technical Group (CTG) to perform the role of Systems Integrator on their behalf.
